Carleton University is looking to prequalify general contracting firms for the renovation of its maintenance building on the southeast side of the campus.
In a request for expression of interest issued on the procurement site Merx, the university stated that submissions will be used to select a short-list of contractors who will be invited to bid on the construction project, which is valued at $800,000.
The renovations will include expanding the second floor out over the building’s lower roof area to the west, and extending the ground floor at the front of the building, according to the posting.
