Local cyber security firm EWA-Canada has been purchased by Chicago-based Intertek, the companies said this week.
EWA – which stands for “Electronic Warfare Associates” – was founded in 1988 and has approximately 54 employees, according to the firm.
“Joining Intertek is a great development for EWA-Canada that we are very excited about,” EWA-Canada president Dennis Weiss said in a statement. “We look forward to working together to bring our services to new industries and geographies, offering more robust services to the IoT space.”
