Telfer alumni, students, faculty and members of Ottawa’s business community gathered for a discussion with Hugh Gorman, recently named the 2025 CEO of the Year by the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Board of Trade.

Gorman, CEO of Colonnade BridgePort, spoke about leadership, strategic growth and the importance of maximizing returns for investors during a fireside chat moderated by Eric Lathrop and student moderator Alexia Dumouchel.

The event marked the 25th anniversary of the annual gathering, which brings together the Telfer community and Ottawa business leaders to build connections and learn from local executives. Attendees began the morning with registration, networking and breakfast before the fireside chat and audience Q&A session.
