Organized by OBJ and the Ottawa Board of Trade, the awards program spans many sectors, representing the diversity of the local economy. Companies and nonprofits located in the National Capital Region can submit nominations in the following categories:

- Environmental Sustainability
- Export
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Sales
- Social Entrepreneurship
“We are gearing up for a big celebration of local business this fall and this is the important first step,” says Michael Curran, OBJ publisher. “There are so many businesses in Ottawa and region that deserve recognition for their accomplishments. We’re eager for them to step into the spotlight.”
Sueling Ching, president and CEO of the Ottawa Board of Trade, adds: “The BOBs are an important opportunity to profile our city and share success stories. We are ever grateful for the determination and passion of our local leaders.”
Recipients will be honoured at a gala on Friday, Nov. 29 at the Westin Ottawa. Tickets will be available in September. Stay tuned for more details.
