The Ottawa Art Gallery was pretty as a picture as hundreds came out last week to support its signature event, Give to Get Art Auction.
The pink-themed evening offered up artisan food and drink, complemented by live painting, music and various forms of other entertainment. Featured were more than 95 works donated by Ottawa and Gatineau artists ranging from paintings to photography to sculpture to multimedia pieces.
Proceeds from OAG’s signature fundraiser help to support OAG’s exhibitions, community and health initiatives, and local artists. Along with being a major arts benefit, the Give to Get Art Auction remains one of the hottest parties of the season.
