Tech enthusiasts, take note: one of the biggest software industry events of the year is coming to the capital next month.
SaaS North, which bills itself as “Canada’s largest in-person gathering of software-as-a-service startups and scaleups,” is returning to the Shaw Centre on Nov. 15 and 16.
Co-founded by Kanata’s L-Spark accelerator and Vancouver’s Cube Business Media, SaaS North is expected to attract more than 800 companies and 2,000 attendees.

Cube Business Media co-founder David Tyldesley said attendees “will be able to learn from founders who have been through different policy and economic climates and who found success on the other side. This kind of knowledge transfer, from founder to founder, is what the event is all about.”
Past conferences have included high-profile speakers such as Shopify chief executive Tobi Lütke, Kinaxis CEO John Sicard and Canopy Growth co-founder Bruce Linton. This year’s program features leaders from prominent Canadian scaleups such as FLO, Jane App, Certn and Unbounce.
The agenda also includes a pitchfest and networking opportunities for founders.
