As demand for intercity travel continues to increase, Via Rail is restoring several more routes in Ottawa and other cities suspended earlier this year in the wake of COVID-19.
Starting Tuesday, the passenger rail operator added one more daily round trip between Ottawa and Toronto, for a total of six trains between the two cities – three in each direction.
Via Rail is similarly adding an additional round trip between Ottawa and Montreal, also bringing the total to three train trips in either direction.
