A seasoned litigator, Edwards has more than 20 years of experience conducting trials and hearings before the courts, administrative tribunals and arbitrators. Edwards has appeared at all levels of courts in Ontario including the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has been counsel on several leading cases.
Edwards is regularly retained by private enterprises and insurance companies in complex matters, including environmental contamination claims and has extensive experience providing strategic advice and representation to employers in all areas of labour relations, employment law and human rights, executive employment arrangements, union organizing campaigns and applications for certification. He represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations and is regularly retained by employers to act as the chair of bargaining teams. He also acts for senior employees in employment and professional disciplinary matters.
