Steven Spooner announced this week he is leaving the board of directors at Ottawa-based Magor Corporation, effective immediately.
Mr. Spooner cited his increasing obligations as Mitel’s chief financial officer.
He had been on Magor’s board since 2009 and company CEO Mike Pascoe said he made many contributions to the company in that time.

“We have significantly benefited from his knowledge and experience during his tenure with us,” Mr. Pascoe said in a statement.
Mr. Pascoe said there are no plans to replace Mr. Spooner. Discussions are ongoing as to which of the company’s audit members will assume Mr. Spooner’s role as chair of the audit committee.
