An Ottawa-based tech company has formed a new partnership with a local career college in an effort to train more open source database specialists.
IT services firm Pythian will work with Willis College to design the curriculum of the new Open Source Database Advanced Diploma Program.
“Together we’re able to set our students up to succeed with the opportunity to learn critical IT skills that showcase their expertise, and then help them gain entry to the IT industry with access to employment opportunities,” said Rima Aristocrat, the president and CEO of Willis College.
