An Ottawa-based startup focused on accessible mental health services has made a series of new hires aimed at building out a national network.

Snapclarity, which provides companies with tools to help employees identify their health risks, personalize their care plans and connect remotely to a therapist, announced Thursday it has made three new hires across Canada.

In its Toronto offices, the company recently added Karen Adams as chief commercial and health innovation officer, and will now add Estelle Morrison, who becomes Snapclarity’s head of national clinical operations.

Snapclarity, which was named “Next Big Thing” at the Best Ottawa Business Awards last month, is also heading to the west coast with a new office in Vancouver. Gianpiero Mameli will lead the company’s strategic partnerships for Western Canada.

Morrison brings with her nearly two decades of experience at Ceridian LifeWorks, while Adams and Mameli both held executive roles at Morneau Shepell and Cira Health Solutions.

The new hires bring the startup to 25 employees, a spokesperson said Thursday.
