Solid revenue growth in the third quarter of fiscal 2019 helped push Intouch Insight from a loss to a profit, the Ottawa-based firm announced Thursday.

Intouch, which develops software to help brands solicit feedback from and better engage with their customers, reported revenues of $4.9 million for the three months ended Sept. 30. That’s up 25 per cent from the same period in 2018.

Already serving well-known brands such as Sobeys and A&W, CEO Cameron Watt said in a statement that the firm also added “new logos to its portfolio” this past quarter, including St-Hubert BBQ. New business helped push the company to a net profit of $136,566, compared to a loss of $589,964 a year ago.

In addition to growing out its client list, Intouch Insight has also been bolstering its executive ranks. The company announced after the quarter’s close that it was adding Erin Fenn, a recipient of OBJ’s Forty Under 40 award in 2019, as executive vice-president. Fenn will oversee the company’s sales, marketing and product management operations.
