After leading their ventures to new heights despite the pandemic, the founders of some of Ottawa’s top-performing companies took time out to kick back, relax and celebrate their accomplishments this week.
OBJ feted the winners of this year’s Fastest Growing Companies competition at a cocktail party Monday evening at the Mill St. Brew Pub on Wellington Street.
Executives from most of the 10 recipients as well as dozens of other movers and shakers from the capital’s business community gathered on the pub’s cozy “Ruins” patio near the Ottawa River to toast the success of the winning firms, which represent industries from skin care to construction.

“After such a long time, when thousands of businesses struggled through a pandemic and then a convoy, it is fantastic to be here to celebrate some companies that are thriving,” Curran told the crowd.
