Lépine’s plans for residential development in Overbrook moving forward

A proposed 15-storey development at the end of Presland Road and the Vanier Parkway has taken another step forward.

A draft report on the development was sent to the local city councillor and the developer, Lépine Corp. in late January.

The project has been working its way through the development process since the summer of 2012.

The development, which has total gross area of over 500,000 square feet, would consist of a single building surrounding a circular driveway on three sides.

The building would range in height from one storey to 15. The plan calls for a total of 298 residential units, which would be a mixture of one and two bedrooms.

The development would have two storeys of underground parking, with spaces for 306 cars and 174 bicycles.
