A Calgary-based landscaping company with a major presence in Ottawa has pulled the trigger on its second acquisition of the year as it continues to expand its national reach.
Urban Life Solutions said Wednesday it’s finalized a deal to buy GrassChopper Landscaping, a 70-employee firm in Edmonton. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
With 700-plus employees serving more than 100 communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec, Urban Life Solutions is one of the country’s largest outdoor maintenance companies. The firm combined its operations with Ottawa’s P. Munro Group late last year.
