The 10th Annual Diwali Awards Gala, hosted by RBC and NetIP Canada, took place last week at Ottawa’s Rogers Centre. Celebrated as the “Festival of Lights,” the gala blended elegance with cultural richness while raising funds for ABLE2, a local charity supporting individuals with disabilities.
The unique event brought together business and community leaders in a networking reception, a traditional three-course Indian dinner, cultural performances, and the ceremonial lighting of Diyas and sparklers.
A highlight was the presentation of the Hall of Fame and Leadership Awards, honouring individuals whose contributions in business, philanthropy, and community service continue to make a lasting impact.
NetIP Canada, the organization behind the event, is a volunteer-led non-profit committed to empowering South Asian professionals through professional development, civic engagement, and cultural awareness.
