One of DragonWave’s co-founders announced this week he is leaving the firm – but he isn’t going far.
Erik Boch, who had been DragonWave’s CTO and vice-president of engineering, has founded a new firm called Ranzure Networks, where he will also be CTO. Ranzure Networks will focus on next-generation customized wireless service to support the Internet of Things.
The new company has some financial backing from Mitel, and will use Mitel Mobile technology to deliver a cloud-based platform enabling wireless connectivity of 5G networks.
