The value of construction permits the City of Ottawa handed out in November were up slightly from the year before, according to municipal records.
Contractors received permits worth a total of $207,613,169 for the month, a bump up from $205,041,133 in November 2012.
That came despite the fact that the number of permits decreased to 588 from 696 the year before.
