California-based Sideband Networks is expanding to Canada, with its first office in the country opening in the capital.
The company, which markets a network monitoring solution, said it plans to take advantage of the local talent base in the high tech sector.
“Ottawa’s flourishing IT and networking industry has resulted in a world-class technology workforce that is second to none,” said Sandeep Gupta, the company’s vice-president of product management, in a press release.
