Developer Brigil has applied to build a 28-storey apartment building next door to its upcoming 32-storey highrise on Parkdale Avenue across from the Tunney’s Pasture government complex.
According to a site plan control application filed recently with the city, the proposal for 99 Parkdale Ave. would see a second building with 240 residential units connected to Brigil’s 230-unit apartment currently under construction at 121 Parkdale Ave. The two buildings will share amenities through a two-storey podium and a 220-spot, six-storey underground parking garage.
The 99 Parkdale proposal falls within approved height limits for the site, which was previously set for a project from developer Urbandale that never took off.
