Entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Ottawa Valley have the opportunity to receive financial support in the wake of COVID-19.
Enterprise Renfrew County – an economic development agency focused on entrepreneurship – has partnered with the City of Pembroke and the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association on a COVID-19 relief fund.
The initiative will provide up to $5,000 of non-repayable funding to businesses looking to pivot or adjust their business model during the pandemic, namely through changes such as transitioning to online sales and fresh marketing materials to attract new customers.

As the provincial government continues to lift restrictions on businesses, the Renfrew County Economic Task Force hopes the funding will further help businesses recall employees and restore – and even grow – revenues.
To be eligible for the fund, applicants must be a small business operating in the County of Renfrew or City of Pembroke and be able to demonstrate that their business has been adversely affected by COVID-19.
Local businesses interested in applying for the grant must submit their applications to Enterprise Renfrew County by July 3, 2020.
