A local firm will manage Hydro Ottawa’s electricity grid with the help of artificial intelligence.
Ottawa-based BluWave-ai develops AI software to optimize the management of electricity grids, anticipating energy demands and the output of renewable generation equipment. The firm’s solution is installed at the aggregation points of various sensors and communicates information in real-time to grid operators.
