On Monday’s Techopia Live, the University of Ottawa’s new Startup Garage cohort put down their boxes and picked up our microphone for a few minutes to chat about their companies and their goals for the summer’s program. This is the first year the program will run out of the Innovation Centre at Bayview Yards, and the scene around us was hectic and social as startups met their new neighbours.
Program coordinator Nolan Beanlands brought with him Daniel Gregoire of MicroBright, Elizabeth Audette-Bourdeau of Welbi and Emil Aite of Desk Nibbles. From remedying workplace hanger to remediating mercury-contaminated wastewater, these are just three members of the seventh cohort of Startup Garage. Learn more about the accelerator program that has been a staple of the city by watching the video above.
