Searidge Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with the Ottawa International Airport Authority that will see the local company’s video platform and integration services used to create an integrated operations centre at the airport.
Searidge will work with the authority to integrate all airport information sources into a single-user interface, allowing the airport to streamline decision-making and manage critical situations.
“Our joint objective is to create an integrated airport system that will position YOW for future growth and expansion and provide passengers and visitors to our city with a superior travel experience,” airport authority president and CEO Mark Laroche said in a statement. “This collaborative approach will enable our staff to better deliver safe, reliable services more efficiently.”

The Searidge interface will allow users to toggle between information sources. The result is more effective management of ground traffic, improved traffic flow, increased situational awareness and reduced communication, the company said in a statement.
Searidge CEO Moodie Cheikh said the integrated system is the “direction of the future.”
“This partnership with Ottawa International Airport Authority will provide us an opportunity to showcase our local airport as an innovation centre, a technology-advanced hub that is safe, efficient and delivers world-class customer service,” Mr. Cheikh said in a statement. “This project will also allow us to demonstrate the benefits an integrated approach can offer to YOW and other airports around the world.”
