The third quarter of 2015 was one for the record books for Ottawa-based Ackroo, CEO Steve Levely said Wednesday.
The gift card, loyalty and rewards technology and services provider posted sales of $519,766 for the three months ending Sept. 30, compared with $321,972 for the same period last year and $315,562 for the second quarter of 2015.
“Not only did the company see substantial year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter revenue growth, this also represents our highest-revenue quarter in company history,” Mr. Levely said in a statement.

The company also reduced operating costs by 79 per cent to $53,992 in the quarter.
Mr. Levely said the company also “accomplished several key operational initiatives” that included the installation of support and billing tools that will allow it to focus on sales initiatives, reducing the amount of manual support required. It also added more self-serve features to its platform in an effort to keep prices affordable.
“A very exciting quarter on many fronts that has the company positioned to close out the year strong and to continue our plans for continuous growth,” Mr. Levely said.
