Thanks to the pandemic, it took three years for Fidus Systems to celebrate its 20th anniversary. But CEO Alan Coady says the wait was well worth it. The Kanata-based company recently threw an anniversary bash, gathering most of its employees to mark five years of rapid growth. Coinciding with Coady’s appointment as CEO, the company’s headcount – including contractors – has increased from about 40 to 200 employees since Coady took the helm.
Fidus specializes in electronic product development, typically partnering with clients to provide design solutions. Building on its two decades of technology know-how, Fidus now works with the “world’s most advanced technology companies” including Ciena, Cisco, Ericsson, Google, Microsoft and Tesla. In total, Fidus has completed more than 1,000 projects for its clients.
In this episode of Techopia Live, Ottawa Business Journal publisher Michael Curran speaks with Coady about what is driving growth at Fidus and how the company will continue to leverage artificial intelligence to improve its technology services.
