The 1.6-million-square-foot office complex just south of the St. Laurent Shopping Centre is part of a plan to turn the site into a mixed-use neighbourhood with residential units, parks and shops.
While most experts say industry is likely to struggle even after social distancing measures are relaxed, others argue sector could play key role in helping companies safely resume operations.
The proposed towers are part of Claridge’s East Flats project, which calls for up to five highrises that will include more than 1.5 million square feet of residential space.
