Porter Airlines launched daily non-stop service between Fredericton, N.B. and Ottawa on Sept. 12.
Departure times for the 1.5-hour flight vary through the week.

Fredericton is home to the second-largest military base in Canada, which gives the New Brunswick capital strong ties to Ottawa, officials at the Fredericton International Airport Authority added.
Air Canada already connects the two cities with direct flights.
