The Ottawa Senators have signed a new five-year partnership with the Rideau Carleton Raceway Casino that will see a Hard Rock-branded lounge installed at the Canadian Tire Centre.
The local NHL franchise announced Tuesday that the Rideau Carleton, soon to be redeveloped under the Hard Rock brand, will become the “official casino” of the Ottawa Senators.
The deal includes a new 1,500-square-foot lounge at the CTC’s 100-level concourse featuring a bar, music memorabilia and event space.

The south-end casino will host Senators-focused programming as well as shuttles to and from afternoon games. Members of the Rideau Carleton’s rewards program will also receive offers on Sens tickets, food and merchandise.
The Rideau Carleton is currently working with Hard Rock International on a six-year, $318-million plan to modernize the racetrack and casino. Plans include an eight-storey hotel, a 2,500-seat theatre and 20 additional gambling tables.
Earlier this year, Ottawa-based consultants Shore-Tanner and Associates prepared an economic impact study of the forthcoming Hard Rock Ottawa development. The report estimated the revitalized casino could claim as much as $62 million in revenues from Gatineau’s Casino Lac-Leamy.
