An exclusive culinary fundraiser in Ottawa delivered both elegance and impact last night as 54 guests gathered on the grand balcony of Harmon’s Steakhouse for a chef-driven dining experience in support of Shepherds of Good Hope. The evening opened with a cocktail hour before transitioning to an intimate multi-course dinner prepared by top local talent: Executive Head Chef Michael Radford (Whalesbone Group), Executive Chef Michael Korn (Harmon’s Steakhouse), Chef Matt Robitaille (Grounded Kitchen), Chef and Co-Owner Adam Vettorel (North & Navy and Cantina Gia), and Chef Peter Gareau (Shepherds of Good Hope).
While the event showcased exceptional cuisine, its purpose was firmly rooted in community support. Shepherds of Good Hope, a key organization aiding people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable adults, announced that funds raised from the evening are expected to provide 12,000 meals to those facing food insecurity in Ottawa.
Combining fine dining with a powerful mission, the event highlighted the city’s strong culinary community.
