One of Ottawa’s rising tech firms will turn to a seasoned finance vet to take over as CFO.
You.i TV, the Kanata-based video app developer, announced this week that Ken Taylor will become the firm’s new chief financial officer. He replaces Rob White, who served in the role for less than two years.
Taylor’s CV includes stints running the books at major Ottawa tech companies, including a decade as vice-president of finance at Newbridge Networks (later Alcatel) and seven years as CFO of March Networks. He also was in the CFO chair at the Ottawa Senators, Yellow Pages, BTI Systems and, most recently, Optiva.
