With a mission to keep the rich cultural heritage of Burundi, the Ishaka Cultural Group, founded in 2007 in Ottawa, stands as a vibrant and dynamic community dance troupe. This group holds a special place for young Canadians of Burundian origin, providing them with a unique avenue to discover and embrace the traditional dances and songs of their ancestral homeland in East Africa.
