Export Development Canada and Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District announced Thursday they have agreed to work together to support “high-impact companies” in their efforts to export their products.
The agreement will see the two groups share their experience and expertise as they help companies enter foreign markets.
“EDC and MaRS have expertise that match well to support Canadian high-growth ventures in the cleantech, health, and ICT sectors,” EDC senior vice-president, insurance Clive Witter said in a statement, adding the partnership will help these companies speed up their growth.
