An Ottawa coffee chain will soon serve commuters at four light-rail transit stations along the Confederation Line.
The city announced Thursday that Happy Goat Coffee Co. will set up shop at the Tunney’s Pasture, Rideau, Hurdman and Blair stations early next year.
The local retailer has secured a five-year lease on retail space in the prime commuter thoroughfares, which are expected to see upwards of 10,000 passengers per hour at peak travel periods.

Happy Goat has five other locations under its umbrella across the city and last year acquired Arlington Five in Centretown from longtime restaurateur Ion Aimers. The company has more than 100 wholesale customers in addition to its retail locations.
