Applications are now open for SaaS startups looking to make a splash at one of Ottawa’s biggest annual conferences.
SaaS North, which returns to the Shaw Centre on Nov. 26-27, is offering $20,000 in cash and in-kind rewards as the grand prize for this year’s pitchfest event.
As many as 10 software-as-a-service firms will have the chance to compete in front of an audience of roughly 1,500 people for a $10,000 cash prize and a video explainer of the company from Simple Story, also valued at $10,000. A panel of entrepreneurs and investors will decide which two companies advance past the initial round of pitches, but the one-on-one final will be decided by a live audience vote on the final day of the conference.
