A new development application proposes to transform a gravelled parking lot at King Edward Avenue and St. Patrick Street into a nine-storey mixed-use building to be mainly used as an apartment hotel.
The planning rationale for the property at 364 St. Patrick St. proposes 1,979 square feet of commercial space and a lobby entrance on the ground floor, and 98 furnished rental apartments between floors two and nine. There also would be two floors of underground parking.
“The project is intended to provide short- and medium-term rental accommodation in the form of furnished units in an apartment hotel type of operation,” the planning documents state.
