Ottawa-based GestureLogic’s Indiegogo campaign for its wearable fitness device, LEO, has exceeded its goal just 10 days in.
The campaign, which aimed to raise $50,000 by Aug. 11, sat at $65,945 Tuesday morning, or 132 per cent of its goal.
Now, the company has unveiled new fundraising stretch goals for the product, which is designed to alert users if they are performing an athletic activity such as cycling in a way that may cause injury.

Should the company hit $100,000, contributors to the Indiegogo campaign will get real-time haptic feedback, allowing them to get LEO notifications without looking at their mobile device.
At $150,000, funders will be allowed to vote on new colours for the device.
And should the company reach $250,000, it will develop an app to track and analyze how users kick a soccer ball.
