The Ottawa Senators welcome back Season Seat Members with elevated game experiences

As Ottawa Senators fans return to fill the Canadian Tire Centre to watch the local NHL team take to the ice, some exciting changes are on the horizon for the team’s most loyal game-goers.

With pandemic restrictions easing, the season seat membership rewards are also making a return, offering members exclusive pricing, a one-year 30 per cent off merch discount to celebrate the 30th anniversary and exclusive member-only events.

“We lost the ability to offer interactive experiences during the pandemic, but we are looking forward to bringing these rewards back,” says Chris Zito, associate director of membership services with The Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. “Our Season Seat Members are the core support for the team and we want to ensure they are rewarded for that dedication.”

While the hockey club has had to adapt its offerings, which are amongst the best value in the league for ticket prices and rewards; one of the biggest advantages to becoming a Season Seat Member remains: your choice of seats, at the best price. Whether you’re purchasing a full season, half season, Sens on Demand or 10-game package, fans can expect to pay the lowest ticket price available, says Zito.

Full- and half-season members receive other perks, such as free parking for long-term loyalty, savings on playoff tickets and early purchase access to concerts.

Premium seating packages are also available, giving members access to pre-game buffets, private lounges, exclusive lounges and premium sight lines of the game.

Season Seat Members benefit from access to special events with the Ottawa Senators team, including exclusive autograph signings and tours of the locker room. “Many enjoy that special recognition and added-value they receive,” says Zito. “It adds something special to the experience and helps them feel like they are a part of our core hockey community.”

Members can also expect to see more non-hockey. “In the past, we’ve done movie tickets, which sold out in minutes, as well as a Season Ticket Pick-Up event at Saunders Farm, which included the players,” says Zito, who expects to see events ramp up this summer. “We want to offer more than hockey. We want to maintain that connection during the off-season months.”
