Ottawa’s skyline welcomed a bold new addition this month, with the grand opening of Relevé, a two-tower rental community redefining downtown living at 400 Albert Street.

On September 10th, Centurion Asset Management Inc., Westdale Properties, and Main + Main officially unveiled their latest development, joined by community members, dignitaries, and city leaders—including the Mayor of Ottawa Mark Sutcliffe, MP for Ottawa Centre Yasir Naqvi, and Councillor Ariel Troster, to mark the occasion.

Designed for modern urban living

Located just steps from Lyon Station, Relevé blends contemporary design, functionality, and community connection. Suites range from studios to three bedrooms, complemented by premium amenities that reflect today’s urban lifestyles, including:

  • Rooftop pool with lounge seating and BBQs
  • Entertainment Zone with virtual golf, billiards, and karaoke
  • Elegant Celebration Suite for private events
  • Dedicated co-working spaces for hybrid professionals
  • EV car and e-bike sharing services

“By bringing together quality construction, thoughtfully designed amenities, and an unbeatable location, we’re providing much-needed housing while helping strengthen the long-term vibrancy of Ottawa’s downtown,” said Stephen Marshall, Executive Vice President of Operations at Centurion.

Building community beyond the towers

Relevé is designed to be more than a residence, its’ a destination. The community integrates 567 rental units, 20,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail and a new 4,500 sq. ft. public park with a water play feature, further enhancing the Centretown neighbourhood. Notably, 57 affordable rental units have also been incorporated into the community.

“Relevé represents the kind of high-quality, design-forward rental housing that cities like ours need,” said Mitchell Cohen, COO of Westdale Properties.

Daniel Byrne, President of Main + Main, added: “With Relevé, our goal was to build a standout residential community that really adds to downtown Ottawa. We’ve thought through every detail so residents can enjoy a connected, modern, and vibrant way of life.”

Raising the bar for downtown rentals

For Centurion, Westdale, and Main + Main, Relevé is more than a project—it’s a statement about the future of rental living in Ottawa.

“Relevé is a clear example of how collaboration between private developers and municipalities can deliver housing that elevates entire neighbourhoods,” Marshall noted.
