Jason Cherry joins Assent as chief financial officer (CFO) and a member of the company’s leadership team.
Based in Rhode Island, Cherry joins Assent with over 20 years of financial leadership experience spanning the manufacturing, aerospace, power and technology industries. Most recently, Cherry served as CFO of Telestream, a video production and automation service provider, and as CFO of Carousel Industries, an integrated cloud communications service provider. Before these roles, Cherry was the CFO across multiple business lines at General Electric Company (NASDAQ: GE).

The hire comes at a pivotal time for Assent as the company helps global manufacturers prepare for upcoming global supply chain reporting requirements. As manufacturers face unprecedented regulatory changes, digital tools, like Assent, are increasingly important to help manage growing risks to their business. The addition of Cherry’s leadership will support Assent’s continued growth to support the market demand for supply chain sustainability solutions.
