Is your company a Best Place to Work?

Even in uncertain economic times, you can take this to the bank. The most successful companies are those with the highest employee engagement.

That’s why the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Board of Trade have partnered for more than decade to invite local employers to register for the Best Places to Work award program.

Registration is now open for the 2025 research program. There are two steps: an in-depth questionnaire for employers, followed by an online survey for employees.

The entire process is made easy by research consultants who onboard registrants and guide them through the process.

“I’m a big believer in this research,” says OBJ publisher Michael Curran. “We’ve recognized more than 100 employers with this recognition over the years. These are highly competitive, innovative and efficient employers. They’re really impressive.”

There are three big incentives to participate.

First, companies gain insight into their employees’ perceptions.

Second, the companies can be benchmarked against other local employers.

Third, the top-tier companies are celebrated by OBJ and the Board of Trade as Best Places to Work, allowing recipients to enhance their recruitment and retention efforts.

Recipients will also be celebrated at Best Places to Work Employer Summit, scheduled for Oct. 7th at the Rogers Centre.

Register now by visiting www.ottawa.workforcerg.com. The deadline to register is May 23. Note, there is a fee to register.
