Ottawa-based digital strategist Erin Blaskie started her first business when she was 21. At the time, she defined success in the same terms many young people do: a nice car, a great house, splashy vacations, designer clothes. “I used to think I needed those things to feel and look successful, but they put you into the rat race very quickly,” she explained. “It’s difficult to get to a place where you’re happy because it’s an endless cycle.”
