Next Room Inc. (nextroom.ca) is a student-led initiative at the University of Ottawa. We are a registered company with contractors in graphic design, photography, and full-stack development. Next Room bridges the student-landlord gap by building a unified platform exclusively for off-campus rentals. We’re bringing the best features:
– Property and user profiles: Based on renter profiles, property owners can select ideal tenants, and students can inquire about their perfect property, reducing your property’s vacancy rate.
– Property and building management profiles: Our free, easy-to-use system makes communicating with and managing your building’s tenants easy. Tenants can also communicate, request repairs, and more without emailing or calling. We’re also making it easy through our partnership with Entrata, allowing you to manage your property seamlessly.
– Take the hassle out of renting: With enhanced features, Next Room will auto-populate and store important tenant documents, lowering filing and administrative fees.
– Safety and security: Next Room will use the latest technology to protect landlord and student data. We will screen user and landlord profiles to ensure compliance and stand behind our platform, ensuring students are comfortable renting from you.
