DESCRIPTION:Soirée Salus\, presented by TD\, is Ottawa Salus’s signature fundraising event—an unforgettable evening in celebration of supportive housing\, hope and the power of community. Hosted at the prestigious French Embassy Residence\, this one-of-a-kind event brings together community leaders\, Salus supporters\, and like-minded individuals who believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. \nEnjoy an evening of French-inspired food\, live music\, and exclusive live and silent auction items\, all in support of the people at the heart of our mission. Together\, we’ll celebrate stories of resilience\, recognize community champions\, and raise critical funds to support stable housing and integrated mental health services for those who need it most. \n✨New addition — This year’s program will also feature the debut of two special honours: \n🏆 Salus Community Champion Award\, awarded to Eli Tannis \nEli Tannis has transformed lives through his generosity\, advocacy\, and leadership\, including championing the creation of Karen’s Place\, a 42-unit supportive housing complex in memory of his beloved sister\, Karen Nesrallah. He continues to strengthen Salus through seasonal giving\, sponsorships\, and meaningful community engagement.\n\n🏆 Salus Changemaker Award\, awarded to McDonald Brothers Construction \nMcDonald Brothers Construction has advanced supportive housing with sustainable\, purpose-built projects for veterans\, at-risk youth\, and older adults with mental health challenges. Their industry leadership is matched by a strong community spirit\, giving back and strengthening Ottawa’s culture of care and collaboration. \n\n\n\n\nWhether you’re a long-time supporter or new to Salus\, we’d love for you to be part of this special evening.
