Participants in the second edition of the program aimed at helping female entrepreneurs scale their businesses will now be eligible for a total of $300,000 in funding – up from $200,000 last year.
Six-week program aims to arm women-led tech companies with fundamental business and investment skills and increase funding for female founders.
Founder Julia Slanina recently took home $30,000 in cash and in-kind services after winning Canada’s Total Mom Pitch, a competition sponsored by Scotiabank. 
Eight entrepreneurs from the National Capital Region are among 10 female business founders taking part in the new program.
