Company: We offer digital marketing services to businesses around the world.
Education: Bachelor of science in computer mathematics, Carleton University (2002)
Charitable involvement: St. Elias Cathedral
Biggest biz achievement: Co-founding seoplus+ with my partner Brock Murray in 2012. We started off with a desk, a laptop and a USB hard drive working out of a storage facility. Today we have grown to a team of 16 amazing professionals with clients all over the world.
Biggest obstacle: Balancing the challenge of running two companies while volunteering in the community and raising a growing family.
Biggest influence: My father, Joseph Abou-Nehme, immigrated to Canada from Lebanon in 1965. He arrived in Ottawa and started working literally the next day. From there he saved his money, invested in land, built a business and started a family. He taught me to never give up and that any obstacle can be overcome.
Biggest lesson learned: Be flexible. Whether it's regarding your staff, your clients, your suppliers or even your product and service offerings, you have to be reasonable and adaptive.
First job: Newspaper courier
Advice I’d give the younger me: Read more. Everything you'd ever want to know is out there and available for you to learn.
