His journey began in R&D at Bell Northern Research\, followed by a successful exit of a Silicon Valley startup which led to over two decades in executive leadership at Cisco Systems across North America. This blend of deep technical R&D and commercial expertise allows him to bridge the gap between complex engineering and large scale business transformation—a perspective he now leverages to lead Nokia through the global AI supercycle. \nAn influential voice in the Canadian tech landscape\, Jeff serves as the Board Chair of the Canadian Telecommunications Association and sits on the Board of Directors for NPower Canada. He is a passionate advocate for diversity as a driver of organizational excellence and is committed to mentoring the next generation of underrepresented youth in tech. \nJeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University and is fluent in both English and French.
