DESCRIPTION:Since 2021\, the Government of Ontario has passed several iterations of its Working for Workers legislation\, each of which has amended important employment-related statutes like the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. \nNotably\, the Working for Workers Four Act\, 2024 and the Working for Workers Five Act\, 2024 both created new legal requirements under the ESA in respect of the recruitment process.
