The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is hosting a training session for Ottawa and Gatineau-based businesses to get up to speed on Incoterms® 2020. Incoterms® are developed by the International Chamber of Commerce as the global standard used by companies to clearly communicate the tasks, costs and risks associated with the international trade of goods. The Incoterms® rules are revised every 10 years, with Incoterms® 2020 coming into effect January 2020. This training is crucial for importers, exporters and others involved in international trade such as lawyers, supply chain managers, transporters, insurers and customs brokers.
This training is offered in partnership with the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) and is the official Incoterms® training of ICC Canada in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.
Participants will receive a full day in-person training session led by an Incoterms® 2020 instructor. Included in the registration cost is the e-book version of Incoterms® 2020 as well as the ability to sit a web-based exam afterwards with successful completion leading to an ICC Canada-FITT Incoterms® 2020 Certificate. Lunch will also be provided to participants.
