The University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management is inviting professionals who are considering graduate education to learn more about its programs and hear success stories from its master’s alumni.
The free cocktail event on April 19th allows prospective students to hear first-hand how a professional master’s degree from Telfer can change the trajectory of their careers.
“It’s a terrific opportunity for people who are still considering whether or not to do an MBA or whether Telfer is the best school for them,” says David Large, Telfer’s director of program marketing and recruitment.
The April 19th event will highlight four of the school’s professional master’s degrees:
Master of Business Administration, MBA
Master of Health Administration, MHA
Executive Master of Business Administration, EMBA
Master of Business in Complex Project Leadership, MBCPL
These programs are designed for professionals with an undergraduate degree and at least several years of experience under their belts.
“It’s for those who are looking to add a layer of management knowledge, skill and practice to accelerate their careers,” says Large.
Attendees can expect to hear from a panel of Telfer alumni and will be given time to network and speak with panelists. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, with bar service.
The event is free to attend, though Large advises those who are interested should register soon – the school is capping attendance at 100 people.
“If you’re at least thinking about attending, then I would say, ‘Why not?’” says Large. “It’s a chance to get all your questions answered.”
